post Persian Language courses?

October 6th, 2007

I’ve been looking for courses in Persian Language.

The only place I could find was Berlitz and they did not have any group lessons as there aren’t any students applying for this language course. They offered me a personal one-to-one tutoring, though it is very costly (556BHD) and I can’t afford it.

Anyone knows any language centers that I can apply for to study the Persian language. Your suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

T.

post Thoughts from here and there!

Hello world,,

When I was typing the URL address to access my blog I didn't have any plans on what topic to write, I only felt the urge to write something, anything. It became a habit to post every couple of days, regardless of the circumstances. This time I had a lots of thoughts going through my mind, and I thought, well, let's these with my dear fellows in the blog.

Thought no.1 : After seeing many places across the island, I realised how beautiful and modernaised the country is becoming and the changes occured in construction, roads and land. There are many places that I want to take photos of before returning back to UK.

Thought no.2:  I went to Geant Hypermart in Bahrain mall in the mid of last week for the first time during my short holiday here in Bahrain, and as usual when I go there, I went first to the electronics section and my eyes glimpsed this camera (Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50). I have this obsessive desire to own the latest gadgets, eventhough my current gadgets are not that bad and my financial status is disastrous. It's just when I want something, I really want it very bad.For instance I am thinking of selling my current camera (Canon Powershot A640) and my 12.1" iBook G4 just to afford buying this camera. Oh! talking about photography, you can view some updated images on my flickr page.

Thought no. 3: My siblings have moved number of my valuable possessions to their rooms while I was away. So for all of you who are leaving the country for long periods I say (hide your valuables from your dear ones!) - (My sister will certainly read this line and will come with furious anger and vengeance to this line!).

Thought no. 4: When I came to Bahrain I thought I would spend more time reading and studying for my finals and finish any uncompleted coursework, but the contrast is happening right now!

This is the amount of paperwork I should read to prepare for 4 exams for this semester and I haven't read a single sheet so far!

Furthermore, I have to do my master's dissertation proposal (I'll put another post to talk about it which you'll certainly find interesting) which I have to submit within 10 days from now and to read journals (shown above in the picture) in supply management, service management, consumer behaviour and project management. In addition to that I have to do my part in the group assignment about the silly Apple iPhone as well. I am thinking of doing most of the work in a coffee shop, because I feel I won't achieve any progress while I'm at home. Any suggestions my dear friends for a nice, cosy coffee shop with free wireless internet opening till late night, where I can carry my work happily and peacefully? (You know me, I don't know much places around the island and I always depend on people to take me to the places I want).

Well, I guess I'll stop writing down my thought for now, although there are some other thoughts but I don't wanna bore you with all these personal thoughts and make this post look very long.

Until then stay safe people and wait for your suggestions

Upcoming Thanaweya graduates get happy! or may be it is just a dream?!

For more details click here.

MP Mohammed Khalid is in charge of this proposal. In my opinion, خريجين الثانوية يمشون بوزهم because four years ago he came to the UK and when he saw our saddening financial situation (Students sponsored by Ministry of Education) he promised in helping to raise our monthly salaries and I graduated a year ago and still nothing have changed and students are still suffering from the situation and the increasing prices in the UK! He speaks and does nothing as usual. Don't be overwhelmed!

Boys and men ,,, prepare to grow up your hair! Read below and know why:

Thank god I only have a hair cut twice or thrice a year!

The last bit of news is the urgent proposal from some MP's to grant BD300 for unemployed graduates. Don't get too excited you lazy people coz there are exceptions! Click here for details

On the way:

  • I am thinking of moving the blog to http://tito84.blogspot.com for better control on a lot of features that I can't have here? what do you think about it? I have this perception that visitors will be less when I move,, correct me if I am wrong.
  • Anyone got an F1 ticket for tito84? It is my first time to come to Bahrain in this time of year and it is my chance to go to the event and I don't wanna miss it but without paying ,, I want to have a ticket plzzzzz!

Best wishes!

post Grants for Phd and Masters

Here is the Juicy offer as I've seen it in Alwasat Newspaper dated Monday 2nd April 2007.

I hope I can get one of these grants but I bet it'll be extremely competitive. The question remains, is that what the company means by "initial acceptance". Because as you know some institutions may not issue clear acceptance until the end of the summer (August/Sept.). Anyways I will call and ask for more details.

The other question I thought of is the type of contract the company will sign with perspective student and would it be a similar in term to the ministry of education contract. I'll call and see!
